When I worked for Apple, I had the privilege of meeting some very creative people including Jessie Barber. She found a Polaroid camera at a thrift store for $1 and we had a great time playing with it. I then discovered this whole new world of instant photography. Sure I knew about Polaroids, but up until then had never actually experienced using one. I quickly started stocking up on film since in the next 6 months Polaroid was planning on halting production of all their instant film. I purchased a Polaroid SX-70 which gives more flexibility over the exposure and focus. Today, film can range $20+ for 8 shots so you better make sure the shot is worth it.
